Gelato is at its best the moment it finishes churning. Once that process is complete it begins to lose that special texture and flavour. Our goal is to bring you the freshest gelato possible. To achieve that goal, we make our Gelato at the counter where we serve it, scooping it directly from the churn.
GELATO IS ALL ABOUT THE CHURNING
Gelato is churned at a slower speed than ice cream, with less air. This creates a richer, denser, and creamier texture and a more flavourful taste.
We only make small batches, and we continuously churn fresh gelato throughout the day.

At Raffaele’s, freshness is the key to creating amazing gelato. Our gelato is made in small batches daily, never blast chilled, and continuously churned for a superior fresh taste. We focus on doing a few flavours fresh, and we change those flavours often – we don’t like our gelato to sit around!

This is simply milk flavour – naked and unadultered sweet milk flavour stripped back to its best. We love it with our lemon meringue sauce.
